Is TipForge a subscription?
No. TipForge is free to download with a 14-day full-feature trial. After that, the core calculator stays free. Premium features unlock with a one-time purchase — not a recurring subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open TipForge → Settings → Restore Purchase, or use Restore Purchase on the paywall. Use the same Apple ID you used to buy the unlock.
Why can I only save 3 tip log entries?
After your trial ends, free users can keep up to 3 saved calculations at a time. Delete an older entry to save a new one, or unlock TipForge for unlimited history.
Does my data sync to the cloud?
TipForge v1.0 stores your tip log on your device (shared with widgets and Watch via Apple’s App Group). We do not operate a cloud account or server backup for your history.
Will my trial reset if I reinstall?
Your trial start date is stored in the device Keychain and App Group storage. Reinstalling on the same device generally preserves your trial window. A new device starts a new trial period.
Are tip amounts official tax or legal advice?
No. TipForge provides estimates for convenience. Always verify amounts on your receipt.
